| Kandyman was never LA'ed again because his ears froze and his tattoos became unreadable. The appraiser felt he would have scored around an 88 or 89 at the time if we had tattooed his tail as an alternative. We lost Kandyman that winter. We have several Kandyman daughters still in the herd and he is in the tank. While he wasn't a very tall buck, he was very correct, very wide with excellent depth of body and great bone. He also had a great head. During his first couple of years here, he wasn't bred to the best uddered does and while he made great strides at improving udders on those does, his daughter's LA scores don't reflect his true value. I will be bringing him back into the herd via AI. |
